Oarfish (Regalecus glesne)
Also known as the “Kings of Herrings”
The Oarfish is the longes bony fish in the sea as it can reach up to over 50 feet (15meters).
It is believed that the oarfish is responsible for many of the legendary sightings of sea monster/serpents by ancient mariners and beach goers.
